Yuno Raises $45 Million to Revolutionize Global Payments

Yuno, a company building the next generation of payments infrastructure, announced Wednesday it has closed a $45 million Series B funding round. This investment will fuel the expansion of their AI-native operating system for global payments and financial services.

Yuno’s platform connects businesses to over 1,000 payment methods and 460 integrations across 190 countries through a single API. Key features include intelligent routing, one-click checkout experiences, and AI-powered fraud detection—all designed to simplify global payments for enterprise merchants, banks, and digital wallets.

Strategic Expansion Plans

The funding will support several key initiatives:

  • Research & Development: Accelerating innovation in next-generation payment technologies
  • Global Infrastructure Scaling: Expanding their physical and virtual presence worldwide
  • Product Diversification: Extending capabilities to include in-person payments and agentic commerce features
  • U.S. Market Expansion: Strengthening Yuno’s footprint in the North American market

“Being truly local everywhere is the most challenging aspect of global payments,” said Yuno Co-Founder and CEO Juan Pablo Ortega. “This funding allows us to solidify our leadership position on a global scale while maintaining financial discipline.”

AI Agents for Enhanced Customer Experience

Yuno has already demonstrated its commitment to innovation with Nova, a series of AI agents that provide real-time customer support across multiple channels (phone and WhatsApp). When payment issues arise—such as declined cards or verification errors—Nova automatically engages customers with personalized guidance in their preferred language.

The company’s investors highlight Yuno’s unique ability to combine global reach with local expertise. “Yuno is redefining payments infrastructure by offering a platform that helps businesses expand internationally, improve authorization rates, reduce costs, and accelerate growth,” said Javier Perez, Managing Partner of Global PayTech Ventures, who will join Yuno’s board.
