SalesUnbox Empowers Nigerian Medium-Scale Retailers with Comprehensive Software Suite

Nigerian startup SalesUnbox is rapidly transforming how medium-sized retail businesses operate, offering a suite of cloud-based tools designed to automate processes and drive data-driven decision-making. Founded in 2024 by Mayowa Oladunjoye, Peace Oladunjoye, and Ayodeji Adelowo, SalesUnbox provides an integrated solution that addresses key challenges faced by retailers across multiple categories.

The platform’s core offerings include:

  • Unbox Commerce: Enables businesses to create online ordering websites in minutes with built-in payment processing
  • Unbox Inventory: Streamlines inventory management for supermarkets, pharmacies, and bookstores
  • Unbox Accounting: Automates financial record keeping and reporting
  • Unbox CRM: Helps manage customer relationships through marketing campaigns and automated bots across multiple channels (website, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram)

Since launching entirely self-funded, SalesUnbox has acquired over 5,000 users. The company recently pivoted to focus on providing a complete software ecosystem for medium-scale retail, expanding its market potential significantly.

“We’re seeing incredible traction from this shift,” said Oladunjoye. “Businesses that previously managed operations manually for decades are now using our platform to consolidate data and gain real-time insights across multiple locations.” One client reportedly aggregates data from 23 branches after operating manually for up to 28 years.

While currently focused on the Nigerian market, SalesUnbox plans to expand across Africa, with Kenya and Ghana as initial target countries. The company’s revenue model is based purely on subscriptions.
