Salesforce and Nvidia Partner on CRM AI Breakthrough
At Dreamforce 2026, Salesforce announced Koa, a new domain-specific reasoning model for Agentforce developed in collaboration with Nvidia. Built on Nvidia’s Nemotron platform and leveraging 27 years of CRM expertise, Koa represents a significant advancement in enterprise AI applications.
The model was trained using a synthetic dataset that simulates real-world enterprise workflows across 14 industries including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and travel. This approach ensures the AI is equipped to handle complex sales and service tasks with domain-specific knowledge without relying on sensitive customer data.
Technical Details
Koa utilizes several advanced techniques:
- Post-training Nvidia Nemotron 3 Super architecture
- Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT)
- Reinforcement Learning with Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO)
Salesforce reports that Koa already matches or exceeds leading model performance on key CRM tasks like updating opportunities, routing cases, and scheduling follow-ups—with three times fewer errors.
Real-World Applications
Internally at Salesforce, Koa powers employee engagement tools and information retrieval systems. Several customers are currently piloting the technology including:
- 1-800Accountant
- Baxter Credit Union
- Engine
- Formula 1
- UChicago Medicine
- Xero
Salesforce plans to make Koa generally available in Agentforce during winter 2026 in US regions.
