Rezolv Raises $12.5 Million Series A for AI Lending Platform Expansion

Mumbai-based Rezolv, an AI-native lending technology platform founded in 2024, has secured a $12.5 million Series A funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners. This investment includes participation from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, as well as returning investor 3one4 Capital.

The funds will be used to enhance Rezolv’s AI capabilities across the entire lending lifecycle – from initial sales and underwriting through collections and recovery – with plans for international market entry.

About Rezolv

Rezolv was co-founded by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, both experienced entrepreneurs previously involved in consumer lending firm Kissht. The platform currently serves over 22 banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), including major players like ICICI Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, and Bajaj Auto Credit.

Key Metrics & Performance

  • Processes more than 6.5 million minutes of borrower conversations monthly
  • Manages over 12 million loan accounts across its client base
  • Rezolv’s Strategy Builder tool has reportedly improved bounce and resolution rates by 35%

What the Platform Does

Rezolv offers an end-to-end operating layer for lenders, combining workflow automation with collections intelligence. Its AI agents manage:

  • Pre-delinquency engagement
  • Active collections processes
  • Field operations management
  • Legal recovery and write-off procedures

Regulatory Context & Market Opportunity

Rezolv’s focus on measurable outcomes aligns with current regulatory scrutiny in India, where lenders face increased pressure to demonstrate compliance alongside efficiency gains. This is particularly relevant for digital-first lending platforms seeking to expand while adhering to Reserve Bank of India guidelines.

The Indian lendtech infrastructure market remains attractive to investors due to the country’s largely manual credit processes, especially in debt collection – an area traditionally reliant on large field agent workforces.
