Intelligent Finance Management Gets a Boost

Oracle NetSuite recently unveiled significant updates to its AI Connector Service at SuiteConnect London, designed to empower corporate finance teams with artificial intelligence while maintaining strict data governance. These enhancements enable customers to securely integrate third-party AI models directly into their NetSuite workflows.

“We’re committed to providing the most intelligent, extensible, and AI-ready system,” said Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice president at Oracle NetSuite. “A strong data foundation is critical, but we also need to meet our customers where they are—many are already using AI assistants, and these updates make it easier to securely connect them to their data.”

Key Features of the New Release:

  • AI Connector Service Companion: Helps external AI assistants understand complex financial data and NetSuite workflows for more reliable results
  • Curated Prompt Library: Over 100 finance-specific prompt templates aligned with NetSuite’s terminology
  • Standardized Skills: Reusable instructions ensure consistent outputs across teams
  • Role-Based Governance: Preconfigured access patterns restrict sensitive data based on user roles (CFO, Controller, etc.)
  • Expanded Analytics Warehouse Access: Enables broader forecasting and cross-system analysis

Real-World Application with Yoto:

London-based children’s audio platform Yoto is already leveraging NetSuite’s AI capabilities to consolidate financial and operational data as it scales globally. Having surpassed £100 million in annual revenue, Yoto needed a system that could support its complex operations across multiple countries.

“As a fast-growing global business, we required systems that could keep pace with our ambitions,” explained Ben Averis, CFO at Yoto. “NetSuite has helped us operate more efficiently, plan effectively, and make faster decisions by providing a single source of truth for all data.”

Yoto is now using the NetSuite AI Connector Service to connect its unified data to a third-party language model while maintaining secure role-based access controls.
