Loop Raises $95 Million to Transform Supply Chain Intelligence
Loop, a platform specializing in logistics and supply chain data management, announced it has secured $95 million in Series C funding. The investment will accelerate the company’s expansion across enterprise use cases while bolstering its AI capabilities.
Addressing Critical Industry Challenges
The funding comes as companies face increasing pressure to manage complex supply chains amidst ongoing disruptions. According to Loop CEO Matt McKinney, critical decisions are often made with fragmented data from disparate systems.
“We see every day how much pressure companies are under to manage supply chains through constant disruption, and how often critical decisions are still being made on top of fragmented data and brittle systems,” McKinney stated in the release.
Unlocking Supply Chain Efficiency with AI
Loop’s platform helps organizations reduce costs, improve visibility, and enhance working capital management by unifying operational and financial data. The company leverages its DUX family of AI models to provide actionable insights from previously siloed information.
“Loop’s AI systems create actionable intelligence out of data that had been fragmented and inaccessible,” said Antonio Gracias, founder and CEO of Valor Equity Partners, which led the funding round.
Expanding Platform Capabilities
The investment will enable Loop to:
- Integrate across more supplier, trade, warehouse, and procurement functions
- Strengthen connections with enterprise resource planning (ERP), transportation management (TMS), and other key systems
- Expand its AI talent pool and product engineering capabilities
During a previous interview with PYMNTS, McKinney highlighted that industry inefficiencies often take 50 days to clear a single transaction due to data silos. Loop aims to solve this by creating a unified intelligence layer across the entire supply chain.
The company was founded in 2021 by former Uber and Flexport engineers and has previously raised $35 million in Series B funding.
