New Platform Unites Business Operations for Regional Banks
Global FinTech company FIS has extended its Digital One Commercial platform to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, marking the completion of a worldwide rollout that began with North America and EMEA. The platform allows banks to serve all business customers on a single system without replacing existing core infrastructure.
The Digital One Commercial platform features an API-first design enabling seamless integration with accounting systems and ERP platforms. It supports real-time payments across multiple rails, including native support for regional schemes like PayNow, GIRO, FAST, and SWIFT/ISO. The platform also offers multilingual capabilities in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, and Vietnamese.
“APAC’s commercial banking landscape is among the most complex globally,” said Peter Boyer, co-president of Banking Solutions at FIS. “The opportunity isn’t about incremental improvements—it’s helping banks unify operations and serve every business segment from a single platform.”
The Digital One Commercial platform was formerly known as Dragonfly Universal Online Banker and now operates within the broader FIS Digital One ecosystem.

Payments, issuing, and recurring software revenue continued to expand, demonstrating tangible benefits from recent acquisitions. According to CEO Stephanie Ferris, client wins are validating FIS’s strategic investments in total issuing solutions.
The company has been actively expanding its AI capabilities, collaborating with Anthropic to develop Financial Crimes AI Agents and exploring additional applications for bank-grade operations.
