Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3, released on August 14, 2026, includes several notable additions:

• Native App Lock: Secure individual apps with fingerprint or PIN authentication—notifications from locked apps remain hidden.
• Enhanced Lock Screen Blur: A more pronounced blur effect extends to the notification list and lock screen icons.
