A-Cube Raises €4 Million to Accelerate European Digital Tax Compliance
A-Cube, a technology firm specializing in automated digital tax compliance solutions, has announced a successful €4 million funding round. The investment will fuel the company’s expansion across Europe and accelerate technological development of its API-first platform.
The funding round was led by P101 SGR, an Italian venture capital firm with international reach, which will provide strategic operational support. Sella Direct Ventures, a fintech investor, also participated, leveraging its global network to help A-Cube scale rapidly.
Meeting Evolving Regulatory Demands
Since 2019, A-Cube has processed over 70 million invoices and serves more than 450 customers in over 10 countries. The new capital will enable the company to integrate advanced AI models and expand into solutions adjacent to digital tax reporting.
“Global taxation is undergoing a radical shift as regulatory changes and technological innovation converge,” said Antonino Caccamo, co-founder and CTO of A-Cube. “We want to provide the essential infrastructure that helps companies navigate complex multi-country environments, turning compliance into an integrated strategic process.”
Capitalizing on Market Opportunity
The investment arrives as Europe’s regulatory landscape becomes increasingly digitalized with initiatives like the upcoming VIDA (VAT in the Digital Age) directive. This shift is projected to generate over €110 billion in additional VAT revenue and drive widespread adoption of e-invoicing.
Giuseppe Donvito, partner at P101 SGR, noted that electronic invoicing is expected to be adopted by 90% of European companies by 2030, creating a market valued at over €20 billion. “Tax data are becoming strategic assets within emerging systems that integrate digital tax reporting and digital trade,” Donvito explained.
A-Cube’s platform already handles complex multi-jurisdictional compliance for multinational corporations, providing real-time visibility into financial transactions across borders.
