Egyptian Edtech Startup 3C Lands $3 Million Seed Round

3C Coding School, an Egyptian edtech startup focused on coding and tech education, has closed a $3 million seed funding round led by MRG Economic Group. The investment will fuel the company’s expansion into Saudi Arabia and further development of its AI-powered personalized learning platform.

Founded in 2015 by Hossam Hosny and Ahmed Khallaf, 3C Coding School teaches coding, technology, and artificial intelligence to children and young people across various disciplines including web/mobile development, data science, cybersecurity, and game design. The school reports reaching over 120,000 students with a recorded revenue growth of 230%.

The decision to target Saudi Arabia comes as the country emerges as a major hub for technology education investments across the Gulf region. Governments and businesses are increasingly prioritizing digital skills development initiatives, creating opportunities for Egyptian companies seeking regional expansion.

A key component of 3C’s growth strategy involves developing an AI platform that tracks student progress, monitors learning patterns, and helps instructors personalize content delivery.
