Westcon-Comstor, a global technology provider and specialist distributor, announced today the promotion of Callum McGregor to the positions of COO- Chief Operating Officer and CFO- Chief Financial Officer as the company targets sustained growth.
Six years on
Originally from South Africa and now based in the New York area of the US, Callum joined Westcon-Comstor in 2015 and ascended to the position of CFO in 2021—a role he still holds following his promotion.
Leadership role
Callum’s newly expanded role as COO and CFO entails him taking on leadership responsibilities for IT, supply chain operations, and ESG globally, in addition to his existing duties overseeing finance, legal affairs, and data & analytics.
Westcon-Comstor serves as the bridge connecting the world’s foremost IT vendors with a network of technology resellers, systems integrators, and service providers.
Increasing revenue
The company’s financial results for FY24, published last month, reveal an 8% year-on-year increase in net revenue, reaching a record $3.69 billion—marking its sixth consecutive year of revenue growth.
Adjusted EBITDA surged by 26% to $120.2 million, while gross profit increased by 23% to $403 million as the company accelerates its transition towards a software, services, and subscription-based recurring revenue model.
