A prominent full-service OTT video platform provider, Mangomolo, has been selected by UPICtv, the commercial OTT arm of Botswana Fibre Networks (BOFINET), to furnish a comprehensive solution for The Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport & Culture (MYSC) of Botswana. This collaboration aims to streamline and expedite the distribution of OTT video content throughout the nation. Mangomolo’s end-to-end OTT video management platform empowers MYSC to broadcast its NOW! Online Channel seamlessly across various devices, ensuring an enhanced viewing experience for audiences.
NOW! empowers viewers throughout Botswana to enjoy linear and on-demand content at any time, from any place. Viewers receive personalized recommendations, simplifying access to desired content, while also facilitating easy sharing of favorite shows with friends via social media platforms such as WhatsApp, X, and Facebook. This project was conceived and executed in collaboration with our local partner, Plastique, and our regional partner, Broadsmart, who served as the project management lead.

NOW! is a youth-focused channel established by MYSC to promote and showcase local talent in the realms of youth, gender, sports, and cultural development. It is also dedicated to fostering the growth of the Botswana Film and Television industry. NOW!’s OTT video service will assist MYSC in delivering a diverse array of content to users, encompassing docu-series, music shows, entertainment, and kids’ programs.
