Accel-KKR appoints Tim Sherwin, ex-CEO of Cardinal Commerce, to Entersekt’s board. Entersekt offers digital banking fraud prevention globally.
Sherwin, former CEO and Co-founder of Cardinal Commerce, led the company to a successful acquisition by Visa, Inc. in 2016. He brings his expertise in payment fraud prevention to the Entersekt board, supporting the company’s introduction of advanced digital banking and payment authentication solutions. This appointment coincides with Entersekt’s acquisition of Modirum 3D Secure solutions in December 2023. With over 2.5 billion secured transactions annually, Entersekt now holds a significant global presence and technological advantage in digital, payment, and data channels for issuers, acquirers, and merchants.
