Africa’s digital transformation is accelerating — and at the forefront is Digital Government Africa 2025 (DGA2025), returning to Lusaka this October with an even stronger showing of political leadership, innovation, and collaboration.
More than 30 African countries will be represented at the Summit by Ministers and senior officials from key sectors including Interior, Finance, ICT, and Digital Economy. These high-level delegations will engage in direct, outcomes-driven meetings with the world’s leading e-government solution providers.
Hosted Under the Patronage of the Government of Zambia
Organised in partnership with the Zambian government, DGA2025 builds on the success of last year’s summit by strengthening Africa’s capacity to deliver citizen-centric digital services. Over 350 government officials and more than 25 ministerial delegations are already confirmed.
President Hakainde Hichilema’s vision of a digitally integrated Africa sets the tone for this year’s conversations:
“We need to use digitalisation in the movement of goods across our borders. We should have non-border posts… that can be achieved through technology.”
Shaping the Future of African Governance
DGA2025 is not a typical tech event — it’s a curated, high-level engagement platform designed for one purpose: to accelerate digital governance in Africa. Through a unique programme of government-to-industry meetings, the summit drives tangible outcomes in:
Digital Identity & Verification Systems
e-Government Infrastructure
Cybersecurity & Information Systems Security
Online Taxation & Digital Payments
Government Cloud & Data Sovereignty
Regional Interoperability & Innovation
As African governments build digital systems that are secure, scalable, and inclusive, the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) becomes more vital than ever. DGA2025 is the dedicated space where these partnerships are built.
Digital Transformation = Real Savings & Impact
A 1% increase in public sector efficiency can save developing countries up to 1.1% of GDP. Through digital transformation, governments reduce leakages, boost transparency, and deliver services more effectively — especially to underserved communities.
Don’t Miss the Summit That Sets the Agenda
Taking place from 7–9 October 2025 in Lusaka, DGA2025 will set the tone for Africa’s digital public sector reforms for years to come.
